Voice Actress Morgan Lofting, voice of Moonracer, Not Firestar, and The
Baroness in G.I Joe: A Real American Hero, passed away on November 27th
this year.

Always so sad to learn when we've lost somebody who helped bring
Transformers to life, especially such a talented performer.

I need to check out Joysticks, one of those 80s frat boy comedies set in
a video arcade. Apparently she has a comedy MILF role. I don't usually
like this genre, but 80s arcade + Baroness has me interested.

I never wanted to bring this up when she was alive, but it appears she
got her start as a narrator in the X-rated "Exhausted: John C. Holmes,
the Real Story" according to the IMDB.

I've learned not to call attention to such things with alive people.
Because I've heard stories of people at (anime) conventions putting
guests on the spot by asking them mortifying questions about
embarrassing past projects, and I wonder if that was my fault for adding
those roles to the IMDB.

Saw this earlier in the week, too, and was sad to see the news.

Morgan was a very talented artist who brought many memorable and unique
characters from what is now an increasingly-vanished era to life.

May her memory be a blessing.
