This popped up a few days ago, but newsgroup traffic is low so I'm
posting about it here:

A bit of an odd choice, given that the Devastation game was released way
back in 2015. It's also a bit of a diabolical tease, since anybody
feeling nostalgic about the game, especially after this toy gets a
release, is in for a rude awakening. As of 2017, ActiVision lost its
license and pulled all the online content, so you can't even get this
game any longer unless you buy a very expensive used copy from eBay or
somewhere.
The Devastation character models were very pretty, but given that they
were basically the G1 designs with more shiny bits, I wonder how much of
a market there will be for more toys based on this specific game.
Zob (Evan Brooks said something once about doing toys with the color
schemes from the Mystery of Convoy game for Famicom, and THAT'S
something that would be fun to see)
